The Brewster’s | Family

Last week the Brewster’s picked me up and off we went to their property in Shady Cove. It was gorgeous out there and we were given the perfect weather and light. The Brewster’s are family friends and it was so fun to catch up with them all and to hear how everyone is doing. I love this family and they were so much fun to photograph. I was laughing as I was going through the photos and editing them because I’d be going along and suddenly one of them, just one, would strike a funny pose or would have made a funny face and I never knew when I was going to run across the next funny one. So thank you for keeping me entertained while I worked on your photos.  Enjoy the photos!

These two are so fun. We were driving through their property when we passed this and I half jokingly, half seriously said, “Oh, how about there?” to which Karen responds with, “You want to? That would be fun!” and Rick responds by slamming on the brakes. So we all pile out and take a few fun ones with the equipment.

Hannah, Micah, & Emily

And to end with, a crazy one by the crazy tree.

The Federico’s | Family

Last week I headed out to the Federico’s home to photograph their family. The rain held off and we had a great shoot. I had so much fun running around with Davis and Sydney trying to snap photos of them playing. Jason and Katie, you have a wonderful family and thank you for inviting me to photograph you. Enjoy the photos!

Brittany - Hey Katie,
These are great. I’m so glad that you’ve posted the shoots so quickly! Wish there were more coming up. You know I could use a daily dose of photos… :-D love you!

The Olson’s | Family

Luanne is a dear friend of my mom’s from their high school days. Earlier this summer she contacted me about photographing their family while they were in town this summer and I, of course, was all for it.  The whole family couldn’t make it, so spouses are missing along with Luanne’s brother’s kids, but we worked with what we had. :) I’ve known the Olson’s my whole life, but it had been at least a three years since I had seen them all, so it was great fun to see everyone again. Hope you enjoy the photos!

The Price’s | Family

Recently, I headed out to Jacksonville to photograph the Price family. My dear friend, Carly, has been talking to me about photographing her family since May and we finally found a time when we were all available and poison-oak free. ;) This family immediately blew me away. I lifted up my camera for the first shot, peered through the view finder, and stopped in my tracks. There they stood, completely relaxed, in place, and all with genuine smiles on their faces! And that’s the first shot of the shoot. I was blown away. I seriously don’t think I’ve had someone who was that relaxed immediately, much less a family of four and to have all of them like that. Definitely a first.

Zoe, their darling dog, also tagged along for the shoot, which I thought was lots of fun. The Price’s are such a close family whose love for each other just shined throughout the shoot. Thank you so much for having me! Hope you enjoy the photos!

Becky Price - Katelyn, you are fabulous! :) If it weren’t for Zoe’s tongue hanging out, no one would ever guess that it was sweltering hot that day…and even though some of us were nervous about the photo shoot, you made us all look good! (Even our panting dog.) :) Thank you for capturing our family so well, and so beautifully.
