The Lovely Ladies of 4X | Portraits

One chilly Saturday morning in January, I headed out with my girls (minus one) for a photo shoot. I love all of these girls dearly, have been so blessed by living with them this year, and cannot imagine not having them in my life even though just six months ago, I didn’t. They are all so beautiful with big hearts for the Lord. I had a grand time gallivanting around Fort Langley with them for a couple hours capturing them.

And so, without further ado, the lovely ladies of 4X:

Taryn

Alicia

Maryke

And the result of having some fun with a tripod and self-timer. :)

Russ & Samantha

Despite the frigid December weather, I recently met up with Samantha and Russ for a shoot in Ashland. They are such a sweet couple and still so much in love; I immediately felt at home with them. We had a wonderful time gallivanting around Ashland, and since Samantha is a very talented interior designer and wedding coordinator, we decided to grab a few shots of just her for her business. I had the privilege of working with Samantha at Zeph and Lindsay’s wedding last summer; she did a phenomenal job and is an absolute joy to work with, so if you are looking for a wedding coordinator or interior designer, I highly recommend her! Samantha and Russ, it was such a pleasure to photograph you and I hope you are as happy with the photos as I am!

Kathy Schlaefli - I have worked with Samantha in my home and with my daughter’s weddings and you have captured the Samantha I know…sweet, passionate, thoughtful and fun! Heather and Josh just had their wedding on Feb. 12 and we had the pleasure of having Samantha as our coordinator again. She does an amazing job of pulling all of the details together, even down to bringing us a pitcher of water during the receiving line! She makes it possible for the mother of the bride to relax and enjoy the day!! And Katelyn, your talent continues to amaze me.

Noel | Portraits

The other week I had the pleasure of shooting Noel’s senior photos. We braved the cold in Jacksonville, with a few stops in a coffee shop to warm up before going out again. It was such a fun shoot, and I love how the photos turned out! Noel is an all-around wonderful guy with a hilarious sense of humor, which always makes for a fun shoot and great photos.

Enjoy!

Kimberly | Portraits

Earlier this summer, I went out for a photo shoot with my dear friend, Kimberly. I called her up one day explaining that I needed a fun shoot. One where I could just go out, experiment, try new things, and just have fun without any pressure. So early one cloudy Friday morning we hopped in my car and drove off to Ashland without the slightest clue as to where we’d end up. Along our journey and after driving in circles a few times trying to find a place to shoot, we discovered this fun little location. And so out we hopped and had a grand time! I absolutely love how the photos turned out. Kim was a most fabulous model and was up for absolutely everything. It was so fun to create with her, bounce ideas around, and to just shoot for myself and shoot for fun. (Something I’ve decided I need to do more of in order to keep growing as an artist. :) And so I’ve rambled long enough and will let the photos tell the tale of our fun shoot for themselves…
